Description

Lightweight and asymmetrical, the Am’D carabiner has a D shape that enables easy connection to descenders, positioning lanyards, and other diverse equipment. All three locking systems (automatic TRIACT-LOCK or BALL-LOCK system, or the manual SCREW-LOCK) have a fluid interior design and keylock system to prevent accidental snagging. The H-shaped cross-section improves the strength-to-weight ratio while protecting markings from abrasion.

The Am’D may be used with a CAPTIV positioning bar to support loading along the major axis, keep it integrated with the device, and reduce the risk of flipping. It is certified for CE EN 362, EAC, NFPA 1983 Technical Use.
